What is the most useless kitchen gadget you were ever tempted to buy?

I feel the same about my KA Blender - and it's all Will Smith's fault!

DH and I were watching a movie of his, where his character is always making smoothies in his KA blender. I made some off-hand remark about it, and the next gift-giving occassion - guess what I got? I was so excited, but I have to say I hate that damned thing! I've tried it every which way, and it is just so poorly designed it doesn't do a good job of anything. smileys/frown.gif

 
Does it have a real wide bottom on it? I have one, it's good for mixing

frozen drinks. Gave it to dh and got a Krups to use for everything else.
