What to do with Recipezaar links?

So in this ongoing search to fix broken links, I noticed a lot of people were using links to Recipezaar. They were all dead.
A bit more research shows that Recipezaar was bought by Scripps Network in 2007 and turned in food.com, then into GeniusKitchen.com in 2017, then back into food.com in 2019.

Apparently, some of the recipezaar recipes can be found at food.com if they kept it.

My question is: are we "replacing" those dead recipes here?
I've been working in the T&T, but did a post search with "recipezaar" and got the max 1,000 hits.

There is nothing we can do about replacing things on other sites however we can take it on a case by case basis as we've been doing for a long time. But this to me does reinforce what we've been doing in the T&T is a good thing.

If people are looking for a recipe, they can elicit help. This has worked time and again (even without the necessity of stapling it to your forehead). We can also encourage members to ensure that recipe posts include both credit to the source with a link, and the actual recipe in the post. This way when the other site changes or the recipe otherwise disappears, it will still be on record and useful.

If we really want to access, using the wayback machine is always an option to create a new link to that old recipe. Not sure we want to get into updating all those, but if someone asked and we still have the old link/info on site name and date from our old post, it’s most likely findable.
