What to spend a $75 Williams Sonoma gift card on...

I find most of their things ridiculously expensive. I have baking stuff coming out the wazoo. Do any of you have favorite things from them?

Their prices are truly crazy. My daughter bought her daughter a Nordic Ware

Ware Ebelskiver pan for I think 49.95 or thereabouts. I bought the identical pan plus a hard cover Ebelskiver cookbook a few days after for 13.99 at Amazon. No tax, no shipping because I have Prime. Go figure. Who is making the money here?

I know, everything I look at I know I can get cheaper at Amazon

And they can keep their $15 jams & sauces & baking mixes. I make my own.

Melissa, I highly recommend a Emile Henry baking dish that should

last a lifetime. I have a 9 x 13" oval baking dish that I bought at a Viking retail store several years ago and it is still in fantastic shape and very oven-proof. I don't see it now at W-S, but there are some options here at link.

You might also want to consider some of their table linens. I have some beautiful paisley placemats with matching napkins that I bought at W-S. They're made in India and of good quality. I also have a dozen of their kitchen towels that are made in Turkey and have lasted several years and am still using them today.

DH got me $200 !!! at Sur le Table. What to do???

He was so anxious that he went with me to spend it after Christmas. I settled on some little donut pans, a cookie scoop, and a packaged mix. I have pretty much what I need in a kitchen or can get much cheaper. Still have $130 to go. (Too starry-eyed for his own good and wanting to be sweet, but I'd like to pay down the mortgage.)

I like their kitchen towels. Pricey, yes, but good quality. You might also have a look

at their spice section. They have some nice spices that are difficult to find elsewhere.

Anna, how about some

ingredients, if you like to bake, like chocolate, or extracts. Or coffee? They have nice kitchen towels as well. I know I can always use kitchen towels -- they make good gifts too, if you have a need for that coming up soon. Good luck and have fun shopping.

Their herbs de provence are my favorite. If they still carry it.

I have never found one that even came close to theirs. It comes in a little ceramic crock. Anything else, I would just figure it is a gift from Santa, and splurge.

I do. I don't use it that often--mostly when making pancakes-- but it is nice to have on hand.

I was thinking of tortillas & english muffins. Don't know about large/small burner electric stove

& how evenly it heats with the two different size burners. Sure miss a gas stove.

I don't have my catalog, but I think this is the product that caught my eye.Spiral slicer

I think it is $10.00 less on Amazon, but I can't compare, as I don't have the WS catalog... I certainly do not need anymore kitchen gadgets, but this one looked intriguiging. I make salads every day during the summer, and always looking for ways to keep them interesting. I'll keep a look out for one at a consignment shop. I think it would be fun.

Anyone have one?

I got a couple of air tight canisters

that I absolutely love. I keep brown sugar in them and it has stayed soft for more than a year (I don't use it often)smileys/wink.gif
