What's for dinner? Grilled cheese w/moose chorizo marinara for dipping. And wine. Jury duty day

After a sleepless night on the floor with my dog Hope. She has torn ligaments in both knees, dang this crappy snow winter, and can barely hobble. To the vet today while I worried all day in civic duty. She's got 2 new meds, limited activity , oh joy, and the saddest eyes ever. Praying for no surgery. As Roseanne Rosannadana would say, it's always something

What a love! It kills me when my pup isn't feeling 100%. I think I suffer more

Than when my kids were sick!

smileys/smile.gif you all must think Gahhhhhh when I post about moose. admittedly not my favorite

but it's what's in the freezer, sometimes.

I am suffering as well. feel guilty that I didn't watch her closely so she wouldn't fly out the

doggie door to bark at the neighbor's dogs. she was gone in a split second and that's when she hurt the other knee. meds and rest for right now. maybe surgery if she doesn't heal well. she is just 7, and doc said she's too young to act 15 already. and I know she hurts, which breaks my heart. funny thing is, she won't go and do her 'business" for me---just sits on the snow and won't budge. she waits and goes out for my husband. I think she's mad at me. more sadness. good news is, I was excused from jury duty----just pure luck there. we were a panel of 16 "keepers", they needed 14, so they drew 2 names and mine was the last name drawn to go. nasty trial too. sexual abuse of a minor. phewwwwwwwww!

it is not your fault

Just bad luck. Hope is lucky to have an owner that will take care of her properly when she is hurt.

OK, Steve2--U GOT me. I was really looking 4 a doggie-shaped rug until the caffeine kicked in. ha!

My heart goes out to you and Hope, AngAk1. What a bummer when a pet is hurting. And that Roseanne

Rosanna Danna saying is a FAVORITE in this house because unfortunately, we have occasion to use it way too much.

Wishing a speedy recovery for Hope and you! And the end of this awful winter!

PS: We had Ham Loaf Muffins, grilled cabbage wedges with pesto, and tossed salad.
