If you mean green beans cooked slowly for hours in bacon and it's

fat until they fall apart and become delicious, then come on down. I'll make it for you....it's 79 F.

Yum, I didn't know they were cooked any other way til I left home. I still do them that way often.

For sure, if they're pole beans, which are hard to come by here, but were were carried by Publix in FL,

I haven't thought about a grilled cheese sandwich and Campbell's Tomato Soup (with milk) in forever!

The sandwich, of course, was made with Velveeta. Do they still make that?

Baked Chicken with paprika. Potatoes of any kind. Grilled cheese sandwich. Egg Salad.

And when I really want to sin it's Lipton's Onion Soup/Sour Cream Dip with real Ruffles.

My favorite thing to eat is a big fatty rib eye.

I'm not sure it is a comfort food, per se.

The things that I remember from childhood that make me feel nostalgic when I make them now include:
Pot Roast, especially lots of with quartered onions
Rye toast topped with sliced summer tomatoes, salt &pepper, chocolate milk (good coffee has replaced the chocolate milk)
Crazy Cake with mocha frosting
Soft, yeasty dinner rolls
