Moo goo gai pan. I
from a Chinese takeout truck parked at the corner of Bonwit Teller’s in center city Philadelphia. A big round aluminum pan with cardboard top and jam-packed with eggs, onions, and brown gravy on top. Hard to eat the whole thing for lunch.
What quacks me up are the many Chinese restaurants’ takeout paper menus that state “We Delivery!” Then, when you call to place your order and ask how long it will take, the response for me has ALWAYS been…….. “10 minute!!”
