What's your favorite thing to have on hand in the freezer or pantry for an impromptu evening...

We have small kids and almost all of our entertaining seems to be

on the fly. Honestly, if it's the right company, even chips and salsa can be fun!

Pantry:
Tortilla chips
Pita chips
Pretzel crisps (from Costco -- I love them)
Mango salsa
Trader Joe's chocolate fondue
Candied nuts
Sundried tomato

Freezer:
Hummus
the 100 frozen appetizer kit (also from Costco)
Costco's crab dip
Pesto

** lots of desserts:
Oreo truffles freeze really well
pecan pie muffins
pound cake

 
Clofthwld, we order samosas from this awesome Indian restaurant

and freeze them! They heat up quick and we have sauces for them, too.
