Where do you bakers proof your bread? Mine is in the car........

Joe! I have 6 batches of bread dough in the oven with the light on--why didn't I think of that!

It's chilly today, and last time I baked bread I had to heat the house. That's not the direction I want my carbon footprint to be going.

Thanks for the tip!

it is.....well done.......my rolls did not quite look like hers..they rose high but stuck to the ...

damp cloth. I think the cloth dried out a bit in the warmth of the car. However they are very moreish. I did freeze most of them. I really am trying not to eat carbs but everynow and then I succumb.....so making these was a joy.
as an aside....a wee bit of (I thought) moisture was on the seat cover when I went to fetch them out of the car and I thought to clean it this am...when I got to the car I found the spot covered in wee ants...how did they get in. There was no obvious line to and fro, just all these wee ants around the spot....
Ants will rule the world someday!

JOanie, isn't the car a bit too scorching down there? I used to just put it in the oven with

no heat at all. Here, I turn the heat on for about 30 seconds first.
