Which do you prefer with a fruit dessert- creme fraiche or whipped cream?

Depends on the dessert. Some cry out for a balance of tang from the creme fraiche while other

desserts already have enough going on that a simple or lightly flavored whipped cream is just the ticket. Whipped creme fraiche also makes a lovely topping.

 
They don't even carry it here so I'll have to make my own. Whipped sounds lovely, Pat.

Heavy cream with a Tbsp. of buttermilk? Will that whip or do you have a recipe or technique to share?
