While I love the "rich" appearance of this dessert, I think it would make my teeth hurt.

Hi Meryl!

Actually, she is a he, and no, I didn't freeze these bars to cut them.

I used an exceptionally sharp chef's knife and a good bit of pressure to slice through the nuts, without pulling them or squishing them out. Due to the give in the caramel layer, it really wasn't that tough.

Thanks for keepin' up with the site! I still can't believe we are coming up on doing this for four years. It has certainly been an interesting experience and I'm excited that it still pushes us to try new ingredients and techniques!
