Yummy - avo and shrimp = heaven!

Whew!!! Oh good! I am going to see if I can find the post over there cause

I remember wondering if another egg would thicken it but that was poo-pooed. I still think it seems reasonable. I love to keep it in the freezer. It never freezes firm but gets very thick and stays that way longer. You have to remember I live in Florida and most everything we do is outside in tropical heat so things warm up quickly! ;0)

I'm so sorry, that was poorly worded - I have not tried your recipe. smileys/smile.gif

I bought a bunch of different dry mustards from Penzey's a while back and played around with them without success. I want to try your recipe, because it sounds like what I am looking for.

Now, about thickening, I'm not sure. My initial response would be to add another egg, but I'm not sure how it would affect the ratio.

I don't know if you have a dog or not Lisa,

but look to the left of website under Sound Effects, Animals, and scroll down to 'Dog Drinking Water' and click on to play - instant virtual dog! - LOL!

Lisa, was it my recipe I posted that was a big flop? If so, please tell me what or

what went wrong. The only thing I would like to change about the mustard is I would like it to be a bit thicker. I asked if anyone had any ideas on how to do that many years ago over at the "old place" but didn't really get any real suggestions.

That's so funny, my stepdaughter brough deviled eggs and onion dip

which is usually not the kind of thing she brings, and everyone was raving about the eggs and the dip...lol.

I love deviled eggs, but since that's gone, I'll bring cherry tomatoes stuffed w/flavored cheese

No recipe...I cream together cream cheese, cream, dill, shallots and whatever else tastes right, and pipe it into cherry tomato halves; served dusted w/finely snipped chives.

Good morning charlie. Yes, although the recipe I was given does

not say how long to boil it, it does say to bring to a boil. I have always continued to boil for a couple of minutes. Because the eggs were tempered before putting them in they don't scramble.

we were in small fishing boats in shallow water. nowhere to run! water just deep enough for comfort
