From a trip to China. We werer eating a stir-fry dish that had the kinda milky, clear crunchy,
strangely shaped "things" in it. I asked our guide and he said they were ligaments.
At this point more than several people stopped enjoying the meal...
Yak butter tea has two forms, a buttery, overly- salty tea and one that is sweet instead of salty. Acquired taste for sure. Not nasty but not so wonderful either. Also acquired taste, but very popular, special treat amongst Tibetans.
