breasts (don't ask me why, but everyone ate the dark meat that time) and I thawed both of them - again, don't ask me why I thawed BOTH of them!) 2 days ago. We've eaten what we want of them and tonight I made white turkey chili. Can I freeze the cooked turkey chili (turkey has been cooked twice now). I know I can freeze it safely, but can I eat it after I thaw it again - teehee ;o)
It smells fine, but I'm worried about the refreezing. As long as I cook it thoroughly again when I thaw the chili, will it be ok? I don't care about texture, just safety.
By the way, the recipe for the chili was roasted garlic alfredo sauce, leftover vegetables, pinto beans, and a few sauteed peppers and mushrooms. Cooked until bubbly, then served over basmati rice. Very good and easy.
