Does the size of a cookbook impact your enjoyment of it? I just got a 4+ pound book and my first

Barb, I am on exactly the same page! I LOVE my cookbooks and I LOVE to cook,

but weeknight cooking is usually one of those dinner in 30 minutes or less deals or some concoction of left overs that I have made up. The rest of my time is spent endless paging thru different cookbooks for inspiration and planning on my next "real" meal to cook.

There are cookbooks everywhere in my house, car and at work. I definitely find comfort in them smileys/smile.gif And, yes the heavy ones tend to stay at home.....

Ha, that's a good topic for a thread. What's your "Screw it" go to meal? Mine would be either

Digorno pepperoni pizza from the freezer with added sauteed onions, peppers and mushrooms if I have them or Costco's frozen cheese ravioli with a jar of Del Grosso's marinara sauce layered in a dish and baked in the oven. Either one makes us happy.
