Had a very successful little tea today... here's what I made:

What are those little red hearts to the left of he cake server, cheezz? Never saw candy like

that before. They'd be great on a cupcake.

Those were the sugarless cookies I made.... am throwing the recipe away --

you'd have to really like the taste of sugar-free jello to like them. They were pretty, though. Shoulda stuck with my linzer hearts.

Thanks Pat... and PatB *g* -- I just love the color of that cake and it always goes over big.

Worst cookies I ever made was early WW. Coconut cookies used whole wheat bread for the flour, and

saurkraut flavored with coconut extract, Yum!

cheezz, I made the shortbread cookies from Ina Garten with Splenda for a friend in chemo, and they

were actually good. She said she can usually tell if it's splenda, but not with these. I made hearts with cutouts and sandwiched them with no sugar jam.

That's good to know... the sugarfree jello is made with asparatame... yuck.

I'll go look up Ina Garten's recipe - thanks!
