Hi All! I am signing in from Juneau, AK. My amazing vacation is coming to a quick close....

We're in zone 3-5, depending. I think I'm more 4-5. Amazing what we can grow

up here. We just have to find those things that have a rather short season and that like cool weather. What grows up here, grows very well with all the daylight in summer. I usually have broccoli and Sugar snap peas in the garden, but not this year. Just flowers. Green beans don't do well. And tomatoes and zuchhini are iffy. must find a nice warm spot for them. Cukes and such are best left to the greenhouse. My kitties are in paradise in the summer. They just are allowed in the backyard while I'm out, but it's so fun to watch them in their jungle.

It looks a heck of alot better than mine does right now which is browning out from the intense

summer sun and heat.

Ang, can you send us a nice snow photo in the winter?)

Ha, no problem there! We already have fresh snow on the mtn tops. called "termination dust"

for the termination of summer. Wahhh.

Thank you so much...

for sharing the photo, your garden is truly glorious, and gives me great inspiration for rounding out my garden here! I love your combination of plants & palette,

R.

Ohhh -- you cursed brat! Look what you've done! I'm melting! Melting!

Oh -- what a world -- what a world! Who would have thought a good little girl like you could destroy my beautiful wickedness!? Ohhh! Look out! Look out! I'm going. Ohhhh! Ohhhhhh....

Ang, I used to plant flower borders for a living, and this is exactly what I aspired to,

but seldom achieved.
