Not so, honey- I mixed up some shortbread (forgetting that it has to be ROLLED out)
Same recipe I've used forever. It's stuck all over the marble pastry board. I took the other half and stuck it in the freezer. I'm done smileys/smile.gif
Did it damage the car? I've always wondered why there isn't another sensor higher so it would
detect a car under it. I know the idea is to keep the door from closing on a child, but the ones on our doors are so low that unless the car wheel is directly in front of it, it doesn't detect a car.
Exactly what happened. I just glanced at the car and just saw some scrapes. I was too upset about
door. When I went into the basement garage the wind was coming through the cracks and it sounded like I had hit a hive of bees.
Two and a half weeks to get a new door. Let's hope it doesn't go below zero again!
Cyn, what about covering the inside with heavy-duty plastic?
You buy it in rolls from Lowes/Home Depot. They are usually 10 or 20 feet wide and as long as you want. It's much wider than the standard plastic for windows up north.
Maybe it's because we're in Hurrican Alley that it's so common here. But if you want some and your area doesn't carry it, I could mail some out tomorrow.
