I bought a set of "2 Clear Flexible Chopping Mats" at the dollar store and cut it about 1-1/2 inchs larger than Kitchen Aid Mixer and Cuisinart Food Processor to sit on. I keep them in corner of my counter top and now I can slide it out to use or clean behind.
