New to swap, Would you help with my Cub Scout dilemma?

Welcome Mandy. Fla. is also well known for blueberries, strawberries, mango, papaya, coconut

also bananas (where does the list stop here smileys/smile.gif...anyway, you could do a strawberry shortcake with blueberries, you could do a banana split with blueberries, strawberries, etc.
you could do a coconut cake with strawberries and bananas as decoration.
You could make a smoothie mini cups of all of the above.

Welcome, Mandy! Any sister of Lisa is a friend of ours. How about fresh squeezed orange juice?

They're bound to be thirsty, and if someone can loan you a juicer, the fresh flavor might be a new treat for some.

Also, Pineapple Unside-down Cake is always a favorite, and sort of Hawaiian.

Hi Mandy,! I'm new here too from NYC with apple ideas...

jelly apples, caramel apples (very kid friendly),baked stuffed apples, apple cake, apple crumble....are you really doing all 50 states or dividing by region?

I feel so loved.... smileys/smile.gif

Thanks for all the fabulous ideas, now, the challenge is narrowing down the list of fabulous contenstants!

I love this list...Since this is a Cub Scout thing...maybe the boys could put together a map

and use stick pins to note what food each state is famous for. Depending on the size of their group, they could each research 5 states. That way it gives the scouts some ownership in the project and it's an added learning experience. I have vivid memories of doing a similar project at that age (my state was Wyoming!) smileys/smile.gif
