TEST PLEASE... (read on for instructions)

Well, I broke down and just tried the Dagoba. It's fantastic! Just a little too spicy for me, but

other than that, I love it! It has an excellent taste and beautiful, creamy texture. If it had a little less burn on the throat, it would be pure perfection for me. Now I'm inspired to try some of their other flavors. Thanks for recommending it, Lin!

By the way, if you can't find the Dagoba near you, let me know, and I'll send you some.

Meanwhile, you might be interested in Chocosphere - it's a great chocolate site and they have everything! I've ordered from them before and they're great - a little pricey, but not too bad. I just saw the Dagoba there for $28.95 for a 12 pack. $8.95 for the cocoa, and $8.00 S&H total for both. But the site I originally linked you to sounds like a much better deal.

I'm glad you liked it! Sorry about the burn, but it seemed that way to me, but...

then I guess I got used to it, because at first it seemed too much to me and then after awhile it seemed not so hot. My friend had the some experience. You might want to try a little of it later, unless you ate it all, already! smileys/tongue.gif

I'll be interested in knowing how the other bars taste!

Thanks for the link! Chocosphere looks like a great site. So far, I have...

only seen the chocolate chili bar...but wow..Dagoba has some really incredible sounding bars...is there anything better than chocolate and raspberry? And lime and macadamia nuts in dark chocolate, and and and!!! These will be great to put in stockings and Christmas packages!

I'll probably try some later unless I have chocolate cake for dessert! If not, I'll try some

tomorrow, maybe at two different times of the day to see if the heat mellows. Will also let you know when I try some other flavors. I'm not too wild about fruit with chocolate, but I'll go for the hazelnuts, etc. The next time I go to the health food market, I'm definitely going to buy a few different ones, and I usually go there about twice a week. I love this store - it's so great - it's called Earthfare, and I like it so much better than Whole Foods. It's not quite as big, but it's pretty big, with lots of choices and lots of samples! They have so many things I like, much more than Whole Foods. Plus the vibes are so much better - the people are really friendly and helpful - quite the opposite of Whole Foods. Apparently, Earthfare is going to expand to the Northeast, so maybe they'll eventually come out West and you can check them out.

By the way, my offer still stands. If you can't find the chocolate near you, let me know, and I'll send you some.

Thanks for the offer, I may take you up on it. I've avoided Whole Foods on

general principle. There is a large co-op I'm going to check out...they may carry the brand.
I love dark choc and raspberry but that's it for fruit in chocolate, for me.
Likewise, I'll be glad to send you the TJ belgium choc bars, fran bars and some Seattle Chocolates bars!

Haven't read all these other posts, but here's the long story from me....

which you will get long before I wake up tomorrow.

The content has been the problem, or at least the biggest consistent problem. Of perhaps 40 attempts to send, regardless of how I access the receiver's name, if I send with content, it has gone out only once. That may seem that I made an error in calculating the success, but it actually did go.

I thought it was related to logging in fresh...nope. No difference.

But it is even more inconsistent with sending without content. I would say probably 10 times out of 40, the message will go, as long as there is no content. There seems to be no pattern. So I've even tried testing with people that I have been able to send to in the recent past. Nope. Again, no pattern.

In each case when the message will not go, the screen just refreshes to the one that I just clicked in to Submit. There is no change. And of course, in the SENT, the message is not there.

I'll keep thinking and trying different combinations.

Great idea to do an exchange. And right before the holidays! We

can talk about it further via PM's, but since they're so inconsistent, I'll PM you my e-mail address, and hopefully, if it goes through, we can communicate through regular e-mail.

Meanwhile, have you ever tried Santander 70% Columbian? -it's another really good chocolate. If we decide to do the exchange, I can send you some to try out along with the Dagoba ones.

By the way, I just had another piece of the Dagoba, and you're right, it's not quite as hot on the throat as before - it's mellowed out nicely. I absolutely love this chocolate. You have impeccable taste!

Oh well, just tried to PM my e-mail address to you. Nada. Will try again tomorrow. It works when it

wants to - very moody system.

Mimi, sent one to michelle, got error msg. Sent one to you, it went through. Sent another to...

michelle, got same error msg.

Didn't work for me - I tried 3 of them, and it didn't tell me my message was sent, nor

was it saved in my "sent" folder.
