Ours were suede with 1" heels. VERY trendy starting just after the Beatles hit American soil so I always thought they originated in England. Here is a photo of an older style- ours were hipper, I'm sure.

I have slides too, carousels of them that I haven't looked at in decades I don't have any of me in

mini skirt, lol, or even a Nehru jacket. I'm a tad younger, so maybe some of those two-short cordouroy OP shorts and/or a Quiana disco shirt.

Do they still even make projectors?
