Foods, Spices, Herbs - Which ones are on your hate list? I HATE cloves and ricotta cheese. I'm sure

Us too, my sister hated the canned peas, I remember long after dinner she would be sitting there

staring at her peas (would absolutely not eat them) and my father just as diligently sat across from her and holding a butter knife and repeating over and over to her: "Eat your peas or I'll crack all 6 of your knuckles" (? never understood that one) that threat went no where, my father never hit any of us kids~ now my mother on the other hand did spank and was swift at it too~ she meant business~ the longest she held out or should I say, wore my father out, was 2 hours after dinner. We still tease her about that.

I only like brussels sprouts roasted. Cut in half, mixed with extra virgin olive oil, salt, pepper,

garlic powder, onion powder. Set in pan, cut side down, and roasted at 400 F until browned, about 20 minutes. Delicious!
(Can't stand them steamed, etc).

I guess I'm the outcast, I really can't think of anything I hate...

perhaps I have not found it yet. I like all veggies, fruits, seafood, meats, poultry.

Liver, UGH! DISGUSTING! Brussel sprouts, and beets!! Nasty! Oysters.

But I love cilantro, and curry, and cumin.I like cloves in some things, but I can't stand it in air sprays, like the ones you make with essential oils.

My DH and I were doing Adkins a while back and he would get up at 5 AM and fry chicken livers for breakfast. It was like I had morning sickness -- couldn't stand it. It took all day to get the smell out of the house. I refused to buy him liver after that. Fortunately, he didn't care all that much.

Both! But I love liver, limas, cilantro, beets, brussels sprouts, tongue, and canned peas.

I tell you honestly my stepmother was a terrible cook and the ONLY meal I remember of hers is tongue

oh, it was just awful. I don't remember if I threw it down the toilet, out the door or gave it to the dog...I have no clue, but I sure didn't eat it!

I only remember her making 3 things: tongue, chocolate pudding with nuts, chocolate fudge and cobbler (don't remember flavor).
