I'm just shattered by this news. Sitting here weeping for her.
I have so many recipes from Meryl that I use all the time. She was the spirit of generosity on this site.

I just read the news, and am not shocked, but devastated nevertheless!
You are so right, Cyn -- she did have resources, but was so deep in the loss of Lou that she couldn't reach out. I have been worried since she stopped taking my calls, but I got busy, out of touch and boom! there was the news.
Rest in Peace, Meryl, God bless you and forgive you. We will all remember you every dang time we think of chocolate!
