Weird Spam from Eat@forum.forum? Mimi?

I'm curious if those of you who are involved with the testing did not

receive the original email or any of the following emails?

oh sweetie, it was a bit startling but, Paul, Mimi and Lisa have been on top of it.

for all of you, if this is the only glitch in moving this site, intact, then we should all be grateful. having been in "the" business, it's not easy to change providers and servers and there will be some stuff that goes kerFluuie in the transition. there's a lot of programing involved and just that they are putting in all the time energy to keep us all happy and keep the site intact in the form that we all love so dearly certainly says a lot. we should be supportive and grateful. if there's little stuff that happens, and there will be, we can certainly live with it, knowing we all still be together in form that we so love.

Great advice, Randi. We just need to stay calm and hang in there for the transition. I'm so grateful

that Mimi and Paul are looking out for us and I personally believe we're in great hands.

 
I agree Randi. We all just need to settle down. We know where the emails are coming from

and Mimi and Paul have kept us informed of what is going on. If the emails freak you out, just delete them. You don't have to open them up. I have been on the new site and opened the emails and everything is fine.
It was just STEVE'S email that freaked everyone out, and I am sure he is very sorry...not.
Instead of freaking out, I think we need to thank Paul and Mimi for moving us to a new site.

And I do appreciate all the hard work Paul and Mimi and anyone else

are doing to keep us happy. Now that we know what the source of then wierd emails are, everything's fine.

 
Thanks Randi - I'm just a tester, but I had the benefit of seeing the post in context

and did not receive the e-mail.

I can imagine how upsetting it must have been to read it without knowing the back story.

So, I get home from a long day and I'm reading this string from y'all. I couldn't imagine what kind

of horrible message would upset so many of you, I mean I didn't receive it but just how bad was it?

Imagine my surprise when I realized the message in question had originated with me! Yikes.

Now, while most you know I have a respectably twisted sense of humor, I would NEVER have imposed on all of you, especially without some kind of disclaimer.

While I can't apologize for the material (I mean I didn't write it and for Hunter Thompson, it was pretty tame) I do apologize for whatever discomfort it may have caused.
