More than anything, it was the fact that it came from outside the board. That was not your fault!

Steve2, I was wondering why we hadn't seen any comments from you, but then figured maybe you were on

purpose keeping a low profile! ha! Like unwanted USPS snail mail, I simply trashed the E's from you--no harm done and we've been given an explanation--ah, the vagaries of the computer world!

Wish we could have seen the look on your face when it dawned that this thread was about E's from your E-address! wigs

 
I haven't checked in for a couple of days...did get the emails...

...couldn't imagine what was going on...especially with that somewhat bizarre one from Steve...particularly the subject line...should have figured it was Hunter S. Thompson, but I slept through the two movies about him...just deleted everything...good think I checked in and found all these explanations...I've been buried in a large work project and have just come up for air...all's well that ends well...

 
I'm just in awe as to how well the transition is going. there is so much involved and so much

that could break something and create havoc. if it's just one little reporting system that went kerfluie, we should thank our luck stars smileys/smile.gif

I have to smile now. but I do wonder how many "vanished" members may have recvd it and wondered if

we had lost our marbles?? maybe it will make some of them re-surface

 
Thanks for your understanding. For a while there, I was afraid I'd be banished or even worse, forced

back to epi, a fate worse than . . . well, not a good fate.

Again, I appreciate everyone's understanding about things. Maybe we should emulate our president and sit down to a beer. . . or 27.

OF COURSE you are not in the last to blame for whatever setting was wrong in the forum software.

Yes, I hope it does also. In my looking at the new site, as it is of now,

I'm not sure how to feel about some of it. I know I'm old and sometimes slow to come around to things but does how many "Friends" you have really fit here? Like, if you have enough friends people will more likely will try a recipe you post? I guess I need a kid to explain it all to me. Just kinda takes me back to High School....

(Edit) Need to add here I am not a tester so am not seeing everything...which means I probably should ask to help test.

 
I'm not a tester, either, but I would really, really, really hope that the format doesn't change.

Other forums/bulletin boards have a much more spread-out format, but I love our format here and would hate to lose it. Just my two cents. smileys/smile.gif
