FRC snark alert: I'm tempted to start a really snarky thread about cooking show pet peeves. Reason?

LOL Michael. Besides, you don't count because you do your own dishes.

Right? smileys/wink.gif

I used to think that, but after seeing her biography I've gained a lot of respect for what she's

accomplished after a rough childhood. And took care of a sister, don't remember if there were other siblings. Do you remember back in probably the 80s, you could buy plastic form and put fabric in them to make swags and other window treatments? She invented that and made a fortune there. She really has accomplished a lot, but I can't stand to watch her show.

No sure you've seen the most recent one....

... she is making a 'rottolo" with GIada. I had a blast with Raffy, she suddently took off speaking in Italian, leaving Giada between a rock and a hard place trying to translate it all to the audience and at the same time not lose the flow of the show. I just KNOW this could not have been on the script, it was too spontaneous, and Raffy is just herself.

I can understand Italian, so one of the things she said Giada simply could not translate, it's a saying about the color of a donkey - so she just let is slide.... it was hilarious

I love that woman! She should have a show herself... smileys/smile.gif

When I'm on the treadmill I like Iron Chef America and Chopped.

I watched so much Ina that they are all repeats now. But I do like her.

I think she is weaved in there a few different times. She was on p3 of yesterdays NY Post re: her

new role as "first girlfriend" to Cuomo....

ditto on that curious--she had to overcome a lot--she's not just a pretty face--but I don't like the

show either.
